I downloaded the trial version today and tried to install it. I kept getting an error and the exe file would disappear. I tracked it down to Norton. Norton was blocking the installation and deleting the exe file as a WS.Reputation.1 threat. Do you have any idea why that would be? I would love to purchase and use your program but can’t get past Norton at this point. I would appreciate your help. Thank you, John Cowart
John, this is a false positive from Norton. Basically it saying that Norton doesn’t know anything about Dashcam Viewer so it’s chooses to delete it. Nice. Anyway, I submitted Norton a request to have Dashcam Viewer whitelisted so this doesn’t happen in the future. In the mean time, here are steps to restore the exe file:
