Dashcam Viewer v2.2.0 was released today with the following new feature and bug fixes. Dashcam Viewer is available for Mac OS X and Windows (64-bit and 32-bit). Download the free version from our website.
- You can now click in the Graph to jump to points in the movie sequence. This feature can be turned off by a checkbox in the Preferences. [Thanks to user “Manuel” for the suggestion!]
- Fixed bug that could change the currently selected graph tab if the user switches movies.
- Implemented workaround for bug in F770 GPS data stream in which extraneous data points are present at the end of the stream.
- Reduced unnecessary white space surrounding the Graph windows.
Michael, I have an idea and will email it to you personally.
Presently have Dashcam Viewer V 1.8.2. on my Windows 10 computer which I have no problem clicking on to open. (Paid Version) Whenever I upgrade to the the new version 2.2.0 from your website, it locks up and I cannot run the program. The screen flashes as if the program were going to open but it does not. Somewhat disappointed in this software. Any suggestions?
Michael, this is the first time I’ve heard of problems with the installer. Which version are you installing, 32-bit or 64-bit? If you using the 64-bit version, try switching to the 32-bit version and see if the problem persists. The 32-bit version is available off the website.
I have tried both 32 & 64 bit – same problem. I have a disc that I received with the Falcon Zero Touch Dashcam that I bought and can only use software program if I download from that source. When I go to the help link on the Dashcam Viewer toolbar and click on Check For New Version, nothing happens. Wish there was a way that I could upgrade to 2.2.0 –
I even tried downloading 2.2.0 from Softtonic. No go – click on desktop icon – nothing happens. Even checked compatibility. Same response.
Thanks for the assistance!
