This will be a valuable tool. 1 functional clip is on the way right now…
This version seem to support the Viofo A119s. These have been a few clips that didn’t show the gps tracking on the map, but a few did. On Mac OS 10.12 Sierra. A119s first release firmware.
Any official support coming for this camera?
Thanks! This version looks great!
Hi Mark, I don’t have a A119s to test. Any chance you can send me a couple of movie clips that didn’t show GPS tracking? That way I can investigate. See http://dashcamviewer.com/faq question #1.
Since writing this, I can’t replicate the problem. The good news is, it seems to work well with the A119S (retail version) on Mac OS Sierra 10.12.2. Seems like I didn’t let the GPS initialize properly before driving, as the map tracking shows up later in the clip and I may have jumped to a conclusion. So far so good. Even works on dual monitors, recorded at full resolution ( 1920 x 1080) All other screens (dashboard, graph, map and viewer) seem to be functioning as well. With this camera, it seems there are no separate files for GPS data and my be encoded in the clip (?) I will attempt to send a full clip to you, and see what you can make of it.
Glad it is working for you, Mark!
