Dashcam Viewer is PC/Mac software that allows you to playback your dashcam’s videos while simultaneously viewing your vehicle’s location on a map. There are many other features in the software which are detailed on our website (http://dashcamviewer.com). The free version is fully-functional and allows the loading of up to 2 videos at a time.
I love the Dashcam software, and am really working on trying to better understand and become proficient with it..
Just updated to Street Guardian version 3.2.8 of Dashcam viewer, and am delighted to see that the 500 file limit has been raised to 1200.
But, I have need to export a short section of the PiP version of a movie file, and am attempting to allow the instructions in both the Street Guardian version of the Dashcam Viewer users manual and your own version.
Unfortunately, clicking on the footnote in the pdf only takes me to a long list of links for FFmpeg files, and I have no idea exactly what or which file I should be downloading.
Can you help
Mac OS Mojave ver. 10.14.6
Dashcam Viewer ver 3.2.8
Also, your email address shown at the ‘Contact ‘ tab doesn’t seem to want to work for me.
You need to download and install the GPL version of ffmpeg. Here is a link to the download: https://ffmpeg.zeranoe.com/builds/ . Be sure to select build “4.2”, “macOS 64-bit”, “static” linking and click “Download now”. The instructions for replacing the LGPL version that comes with Dashcam Viewer with the GPL version are on p.57-58 of the User’s Manual.
