Dashcam Viewer v3.6.5 was released today for both Mac and Windows with the following new improvements:
New Features:
- [Windows] Dashcam Viewer has a new look! New default Dark Mode theme for Window’s users. Users can revert to the older theme if desired via the Preferences.
New Dark Mode theme on left, traditional theme on right.
- Changed geoJSON exported filename to have .geojson extension instead of .json.
- Added ability to load .TS video files on computers that support this format.
- Minor GUI enhancements and tweaks.
Dashcam Viewer and Dashcam Viewer PRO are PC/Mac applications that allow you to play your dashcam’s videos while simultaneously viewing your vehicle’s location on a map. There are many other features in the software which are detailed on our website (http://dashcamviewer.com). The free version is fully-functional and allows the loading of up to 2 videos at a time.
I am still not able to merge files after installing the GPL version of ffmpeg. Is this something that might get fixed in a future release or am I stuck with either using the included LGPL ffmpeg to merge files but won’t include my rear camera view for exported video fragments or use the GPL version of ffmeg to do that and not be able to merge files? in have Viofo A129 Pro Duo and run Windows version of Dashcam viewer.
I realize I can copy the appropriate version of ffmpeg into the program folder depending on what I want to do but having to do that every time is a pain, I am hoping this issue might be addressed in a future release.
Thanks
